About Dr. Jacobi

I am a biological anthropologist with research interests in the health of prehistoric and historic groups and forensic anthropology.  I am affiliated with both the Department of Anthropology and the Alabama Museum of Natural History. Through human osteology, paleopathology, and dental anthropology I have investigated culture clashes at the time of contact. ​I enjoy vampire fiction, Dr. Who, The Who and Groo. I currently serve as a Senior Blount Fellow of the College of Arts and Sciences.
